Asus has confirmed the official UK pricing for the Asus Transformer Pad TF300T, the company’s newest, most affordable Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet with dockable keyboard.
The ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T will be available in three colours: Royal Blue, Iceberg White and Torch Red and will retail for £399 in a bundle including the keyboard dock. Not a bad price considering the specifications you are getting.
The ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T is the most affordable tablet in Asus’ round-up, sitting under the existing Asus EeePad Transformer Prime and forthcoming Asus Transformer Infinity TF700T.
It’s made of plastic, rather than metal, but the TF300T has still got an impressive spec sheet including a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, for full 1080p HD playback.
Other features including a dual 1.2-megapixel and 8-megapixel cameras and Asus SonicMaster technology.
The mobile dock includes a full QWERTY keyboard, touchpad, USB and SD ports and extends the Asus Transformer Prime TF300T’s battery life to an impressive 15-hours.
The Asus Transformer Prime TF300T will be available exclusively online at Currys and PC World, arriving Curry’s and PC World retail stores late May, before being more widely available in June 2012. Asus hasn’t confirmed an exact date in May yet, advising fans to keep checking its Facebook page.
Of course, we’re still waiting for pricing and availability for the Asus PadFone and the Asus Transformer Infinity TF300T, but we’ll bring you news as soon as we get it.
