OnePlus 2 price permanently slashed in UK

You can now bag yourself the OnePlus 2, a great-value mid-range phone boasting impressive specs including a dependable 13-megapixel camera and nippy Snapdragon 810 processor, for just £249.

This morning, mobile manufacturer OnePlus announced that the UK cost of its OnePlus 2 handset would be permanently dropped from £299 to £249. Likewise, in the US it will now cost $349 and in Europe the OnePlus 2 price will sink to just 345 Euros.

Don’t despair or kick the cat if you only just stumped up for one, however. If you bought the OnePlus 2 in the past fifteen days, you’ll be getting a refund from those kind folks at OnePlus. And if you bought the phone sixteen days ago…well, don’t go too hard on Mr Fluffykins.

At this new, low price, the OnePlus 2 is even more attractive and stiffer competition for the likes of the Motorola Moto X Play. However, we can’t help but wonder why anyone would buy the OnePlus X over the OnePlus 2 now that the two mobiles are just fifty quid apart, unless the X is about to become cheaper too.
