Palm is a brave company. When everyone thought Palm was on the verge of failure it launched a new phone and a new operating system. Today it continued to battle on announcing an updated version of the Palm Pre (pictured left) and the Palm Pixi (pictured right). The new Palm Pre has 16GB of internal memory and a more refined keypad; the new Pixi boasts Wi-Fi.
This year Palm aims to deliver better games and it showed off an app that lets you turn your Palm device into a Wi-Fi hotspot. Palm also announced that all devices running webOS will get video recording functionality and Flash. It wasn’t a groundbreaking event but Palm’s message was clear, it’s here to stay and it’s ready to fight its competitors.
