Pink Samsung Galaxy Note expected in March

As with the Samsung Galaxy S2 before it, the Samsung Galaxy Note will be shipping in pink for the ultimate female focused phablet. The “Berry Pink” variant is also set to feature a pink S-Pen and will more than likely have a host of pink sleeves and wallets to accompany the 5.3-inch Samsung Galaxy Note.

Other Note-worthy specs include a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, an HD Super AMOLED display and an 8-megapixel camera as well as 16GB of storage on board and microSD expandability up to an additional 32GB.

Revealed by an insider to GSM Arena and expected to land some time in March, the pink variant will arrive post-MWC when a plethora of next-gen handsets will be announced. While the Note will still be a very current device in four weeks, it’s likely the berry pink version could mark a push by Samsung to get the phablet into a wider audience’s hands with the current market being males in their 20s to 30s.

This could even suggest a price drop shortly after. We feel this would be necessary to truly make the larger than life phone more accessible given it’s current status as one of the most expensive Android devices on the market at £499.

So what’s your view? Does the thought of a berry coloured (possibly more affordable) Samsung Galaxy Note tickle you pink or is it all a bit cliche?
