Lots of people have Facebook and Twitter accounts, and plenty of those like to update both at once. So an app to do just that is pretty appealing. What’s puzzling is the developer: MySpace.
Yes, THE MySpace. The social network has launched a new iPhone app called SuperPost, which lets you update your MySpace, Facebook and Twitter profiles all at once.
It supports text, photos and videos, and claims to be designed to be as fast and easy-to-use as possible. The app lets you preview photos and videos before sending them, and includes support for HD video if you’re connected to a Wi-Fi network.
The app is free, too. However, it pales a little bit next to a.) the more powerful features within Facebook and Twitter’s native iPhone apps, and b.) more general apps like Fring that let you update AND browse your stream of updates from friends – SuperPost is one-way only, it doesn’t aggregate friends’ updates.
