Proporta unveils new cases for iPhone, HTC and Blackberry

Brit smartphone accessory manufacturer Proporta has unveiled its Autumn/Winter cases designs and Recombu was there to take a sneak peak.

Ted Baker and Quiksilver collaborations were among the designs on show, which include hard shells, flip cases and pouches.

Proporta won’t be releasing the cases until the mid/end September giving the company time (we are guessing) to allow for any new handset releases.

Since Proporta has traditionally made products for Apple products, we’re thinking this means the iPhone 5, which is due to be announced on September 7th according to the latest rumour. Although Proporta refused to comment on this.

For the first time Proporta will be using the designs to create cases for Blackberry handsets. This is great news for RIM fans, who have previously had a rather limited selection of drab cases to choose from.

Ted Baker designs are based around the linings for Autumn/Winter clothes, with designs for men and women. The hard shells look really unique, in particular one with insects (see left).

Quiksilver’s hard shells are now available in plain colours, such as blue, black and green, so it’s left to sister brand Roxy to use some really bold styles our favourites includes a pink, red, blue, yellow and orange polygon pattern and blue Roxy pattern (see right).

The company is also continuing it’s female-friendly range of Shine cases now in bright red and yellow, incorporating a mirror. There are also a new selection of its popular Union Jack cases in bright colours (below).

Each Proporta case includes a distinguishing feature: including a pull-tag in the pouch, aluminium screen shield on the flip case and screen protector with the pouch

Proporta’s new selection of cases will be out by the end of September from  the Proporta website we’ll bring you news on prices as soon as we get it.
