An Android exclusive, it’s designed to showcase Snapdragon optimised games, along with feeds from gaming websites. Clearly Qualcomm is looking to replicate rival Nvidia’s Tegra Zone application.

Uses can play over 100 titles from the Snapdragon Game Pack, some of which are exclusively available, but all optimised for  Android tablets and phones equipped with Snapdragon chip. These include: Fight Game Heroes, Bunny Meze 3D, Desert Winds, which can be bought within the app.

Dave Durnil from Quamcomm states: “With mobile gaming proliferating at a blistering pace, apps like Snapdragon GameCommand make it easy for consumers to discover and access the most advanced Snapdragon optimized games.”

The app launches officially at CES next week and then hits the Android Market in North America, with other markets to follow later.
