Could it be a coincidence that a romantical red Nexus 5 hits stores mere days before Valentine’s?
As already heavily hinted, Google and LG have put out a beautiful new red version of the Nexus 5 smartphone, just in time for well-off loved-up tech bods to spoil their other halves on Valentine’s Day.
The original specs remain exactly the same, with a quad-core 2.26GHz Snapdragon 800 processor tucked away inside the red version, and a tasty five-inch Full HD screen. You can pick up the rouge Nexus from the Google Play store right now for £299/£339 (16GB/32GB model) or for £21 a month on contract from Carphone Warehouse.
This isn’t the first time you could rock a bright red Nexus 5, however, and we’re not talking about dunking your precious mobile in nail varnish. Google has already put out a crimson case for the Nexus phone, which is also compatible with wireless chargers.
As you can see below, however, it makes the gorgeous mobile look a little chunkier when it’s popped on. Not that there’s anything wrong with chunky, of course – we love having a little extra to hold on to. The case is available now from Google Play for £18.74 (that includes a limited-time 25% discount) and could be a solution for any existing Nexus 5 owners who are seeing…well, red…at the sexy new model.
