Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and Mini 2 on their way to Three

We’ve just learnt that the Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 and Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 will be making their way onto Three. The network has not only confirmed that it will be releasing the handsets, but has also made this comprehensive hands-on video with the Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 which we’ve included below for your viewing pleasure.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 will be sporting 3.8-inch screen and a bumped up WVGA resolution over its predecessor. The camera has a 5-megapixel sensor and a single LED flash with 4GB of internal storage on-board, and up to 32GB extra thanks to the microSD slot. Along with Wi-Fi, GPS there’s also an NFC chip on certain models.

The Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 sports a smaller 3.27-inch screen and a lower HVGA resolution and a 3-megapixel camera with no flash. Humble the specs may be, there’s still a respectable 4GB of internal memory and expandability via microSD. Again, there looks to be two versions of the Samsung Galaxy Mini 2, one with an NFC chip built in and one without.

If you’re after a reasonably priced smartphone therefore, we can only assume that these two won’t break the bank. Coupled with Three’s competitive pricing, there’s plenty of mid-range mobile to look forward to in the coming months.
