Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus launch date 17th of March, coming to Vodafone

Samsung has announced the release date for the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus, the follow up to the Samsung Galaxy Ace mid-range phone from last year.

Coming with a 3.65-inch screen (320×480 HVGA resolution) screen, a 5-megapixel camera with an LED flash, the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus is pretty similar specs-wise as the old Ace. Style-wise, it looks a little but like ye olde Apple iPhone 3GS as well…

Running Android 2.3 Gingerbread and powered by a single-core 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus ought to be a bit quicker on its feet than its predecessor. 3GB of internal memory comes built in and via the microSD card slot you’ve got room to expand this by an extra 32GB.

Though a mid-range phone that won’t break the bank, you get 3G and Wi-Fi on the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus for fast browsing and GPS for use with Google Maps.

Samsung’s TouchWiz UI comes installed as do other Samsung services such as the Samsung Apps app store and Samsung ChatON, Samsung’s equivalent of BBM and iMessage.

Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus on Vodafone

Hitting the shops tomorrow, we understand that Vodafone will be selling the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus on contracts; no word yet in which of the other networks will be picking this up.
