Samsung Galaxy S2 Ice Cream Sandwich final version: Pictures and video

Ice Cream Sandwich update, Samsung Galaxy S2, it seems like its been forever in the coming. That said, it hasn’t and it’s almost here, just a week to go. If however you’re an antsy S2 owner and want to know how Android 4.0 will look on your Samsung Galaxy S2 right now, a leaked final version of the new Android OS has been making the rounds online, into our offices and in-front of our cameras.

Expected to officially land on March the 19th on unlocked, unbranded Galaxy S2s, the official Ice Cream Sandwich update will roll out over the air. With a rooted device however, we’ve been able to flash the release build of Ice Cream Sandwich onto our white Samsung Galaxy S2 and preview it.

We’ve put together a series of images illustrating set-up of both ICS and Gingerbread Galaxy S2s, and we’ve also included some screens of the ICS specific features. Finally, we’ve recorded a side by side video, testing out our double handed dexterity in a bid to illustrate exactly what’s new in the Android 4.0 update.

If you want us to try or test anything on the our ICS Samsung Galaxy S2, leave a comment below, and until next Monday arrives and the OTA update is rolled out onto your phone, enjoy our preview.
