The Samsung Galaxy S5, Gear 2 and Gear Fit are embarking on a global tour to let you try before you buy.
Pandering to the kind of people who can’t wait until Christmas Day without surreptitiously poking, prodding and even part-opening their presents, Samsung has announced it’ll be touring a Global Preview of its forthcoming flagship Galaxy S5 at 1400 shops around the globe.
The previews are scheduled to set up stall at Samsung Experience Stores, mobile carrier stores and what Sammy is calling ‘key retailer stores’ across some 61 countries, kicking off today in the US and Switzerland, before spreading like some beautiful Android-driven infection to Brazil, China, Germany, and – finally – to us in the United Kingdom.
When it does land here, the curious can sate their Samsung appetite by getting hands-on with the Galaxy S5, Gear 2 and the Gear Fit with the help of in-store Samsung specialists who’ll be on-hand to show off the tech-talents of the collective kit. If that early doors experience tips visitors over the limit, they’ll also be able to put down their pre-orders there and then.
“The new Galaxy S5 and Gear devices are designed for what matters most to our consumers,” said Younghee Lee, Samsung’s Executive Vice President of Global Marketing, IT& Mobile Division. “We listened closely to our consumers when designing these products, and we want to give as many customers as possible the enough chance to experience of Galaxy S5, Gear 2, and Gear Fit before they purchase.”
With the Samsung Galaxy S5, Gear 2 and Gear Fit kit all set to go on sale on April 11th, if you’ve been keeping up to date on these desirable devices but are still undecided as to whether to hand over your hard earned, watch this space for a UK announcement update, pop on down to a preview event and prepare to be convinced free of your cash.
