Samsung’s answer to the iPad has a 7inch display resplendent with HD movie playback. Running Android 2.2 (Froyo) with Samsung‘s TouchWiz interface, it also offers video calling, Flash support, GPS for location-based services and Swype for quick and easy touchscreen typing (who knows, maybe you’ll break records using it…).
The 3-megapixel camera isn’t going to break any records though, although it is equipped with an LED flash. The hardware is backed up by a 1GHz Cortex A9 processor so operations should be pretty nippy, while the 32GB of storage can be expanded using a microSD card to add an additional 32GB.
The slate also comes with an e-reader so you can carry thousands of books around in one easy gadget.
