Samsung to launch 12-inch Galaxy Note Pro and Tab Pro tablets at CES.
Samsung has yet to reveal its full line of products for CES tech show in Las Vegas, but there are are two gadgets the company is happy for all to see before the show kicks off properly on Tuesday. Meet the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro and the Tab Pro, which were first spotted on a huge billboard at the Las Vegas Convention Centre.
Samsung won’t revealed any official information on these ‘Pro’ tablets until later today, but we do know both devices will pack ginormous a 12-inch screens that, according to well-connected Twitter-based whistleblowers at @evleaks, will pump out an impressive 2,500×1,600-pixel resolution – more than your Full HD telly can manage.
@evleaks also reckons the Galaxy Note Pro and Tab Pro will come in 4G, 3G and WiFi-only guises. The 4G editions will run 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processors, while the WiFi only and 3G versions will use Samsung’s technically superior eight-core Exynos 5 Octa chip, which has four cores running at 1.9GHz and four at 1.3GHz.
Those amongst you that feel 12 inches is a little too big to handle will be pleased to hear that 10.1-inch an 8.4-inch versions, both with the same giant resolutions, will also be available. All models will run Android 4.4 KitKat with 32GB and 64GB storage options.
