Say goodbye to germs on your iPhone

Hands are gross. No matter how many times you wash them, how much antibacterial gel you smear over them or how often you dip them in bleach (er, we don’t recommend this at all), they’ll never be germ free. You know what else is germ-ridden? Your mouth. Especially if you have a cold. And what’s that thing you hold up to your mouth with your hand? Oh yes, your phone. Just think of all those nasties just waiting to set up shop on your phone. And how often do you give your phone a proper clean? Never? Yeah, thought so.

Good news for iPhone owners, you can get all Monica-from-Friends with the Proporta antimicrobial silicone case. The antimicrobial coating guards against germs and bacteria by killing micro-organisms or at the very least stunting their growth. The case isn’t particularly beautiful to look at, but with its silicone skin it will at least help to protect your phone against scratches and minor tumbles. You can pick it up from Proporta for £14.95, complete with lifetime warranty.

If you’re not already convinced, here’s a little fact for you: the average mobile phone actually has around 25,000 germs per square inch, whilst the average toilet seat has just 50. Nice.
