slideHome: A beautifully useful user interface concept

Christopher Hair‘s user interface is genius, unfortunately it’s only a concept. “Born from sheer boredom and the lack of innovative home screens for today’s touch screen phones,” Hair’s user interface divides up useful information, such as emails and calendar events, on a single screen. The navigation system makes a lot of sense: swipe up and down to see all the sections and click on the ones you want to expand. We’ve seen a few UIs that offer a similar experience but we like Hair’s the most, even if it isn’t real. We hope HTC reads this and implements something like this in a future version of its Sense UI – with Hair’s help, of course.
