Sony Ericsson Xperia Play and Arc for £35 and £30 a month on Vodafone: Pre-ordering begins now

Vodafone has just announced pricing and pre-order details for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play – aka ‘the PSP Phone’ – and the Xperia Arc.

The hotly anticipated Xperia Play is available to pre-order from Vodafone now on contracts starting at £35 a month.

£35 a month on a 24 month plan will see you getting the Xperia Play for nowt, 900 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data thrown in to the bargain.

The first thousand people to pre-order online will also get the DK 300 docking station bundled in for gratis. This’ll allow you to turn your Xperia Play into a fancy bedside alarm clock and act as a general multimedia dock.

Orders placed before the end of March will also see you getting free Vodafone-to-Vodafone calls for the duration of the contract.

The super-slim Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc is also available to pre-order from the red network now. £30 a month for 24 months gets you 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data.

As well as being one of the thinnest phones out there, the Arc features an 8.1-megapixel camera which is bolstered by an Exmor light sensor. This allows you to take high quality pictures in poorly-lit areas with or without the aid of a flash.

That’s all well and good, but will you be able to get in in pink?

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, which is coming exclusively to Vodafone in cherry red, also features this same Exmor low light sensor.
