The first of the two Storms that were predicted to arrive in the UK has hit today – the BlackBerry Storm 2 is now available on T-Mobile. The Storm 2 which features a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen is available free on 24 month contracts starting at £30. The £30 24 month offering includes 600 minutes and 500 texts as well as free internet use with a 1GB fair use cap.
The BlackBerry Storm 2 is also available free on a £40 18 month T-Mobile contract – this plan gives you 900 minutes and 500 texts but internet isn’t included for free. You can however sign up for a T-Mobile Flexible Booster for an additional £5 a month which will see you able to get online.
In other smartphone news, the Nokia X6 can now be pre-ordered from Vodafone. The Nokia X6 with its 3.2-inch screen and a large 32GB of memory and is going for free on a £30, 24 month contracts providing 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of mobile internet. For an extra £5 a month, you can pre-order the Nokia X6 on an 18 month contract which will get you the same number of minutes, messages and data.
