SwiftKey X Free for phones and tablets launched, SwiftKey giving away a VIZIO tablet today, Thursday and Friday

SwiftKey has proudly announced that it’s ‘saved’ over 10 billion keystrokes as a result of people downloading its awesome predictive text keyboards for Android phones and tablets.

To clarify, this is an ‘American’ ten billion, i.e. 10,000,000,000 and not 100,000,000,000,000. Still, that’s a lot of saved keystrokes whichever way you look at it.

To celebrate this momentous milestone, SwiftKey has launched SwiftKey X Free for Android phones and tablets. This is a a new freebie version of the awesome SwiftKey X that was launched a little while ago.

As well as this, SwiftKey is also giving away a Vizio Android 2.3 Gingerbread tablet for free today, Thursday and Friday to one lucky competition winner.

To enter, all you need to do it to tweet @SwiftKey the following: The number of keystrokes you’ve saved since installing SwiftKey/SwiftKey X and make sure you include the hashtag #SKX10bn.

So your tweet will look something like “I’ve saved 69,105 keystrokes with @SwiftKey, how many have you saved? #SKX10bn”

To find out how many keystrokes you’ve saved since installing SwiftKey, simply go to Settings > Language & Keyboard and scroll down to the SwiftKey Settings. All of the keystroke info will be under the Stats tab.

The winner will be picked randomly and announced via DM at some point today; keep an eye on the SwiftKey Twitter for updates.
