T-Mobile’s getting in on the new iPad pre-order fun as well, launching a splash page on its site where you can leave your details and be kept in the loop. Again, pricing information and availability is super-thin on the ground with T-Mobile unable to confirm. But, we’re told that T-Mobile will be updating with information next week.
We already know from Apple that the new iPad, with its retina-shredding Retina Display and 5-megapixel iSight camera, will be coming to the shelves next Friday the 16th of March.
And we know that the prices for the 4G and Wi-Fi models, the ones T-Mobile is most likely to sell on contracts, are £499, £579 and £659 for the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB editions.
What we don’t yet know if how T-Mobile will sell data for the new iPad. T-Mobile recently launched its Full Monty plans which provide unlimited data – it’d be amazing if the new iPad comes to one of these tariffs.
But with no listing for T-Mobile data prices on Apple’s site, it’s hard to make a guess right now. We’ll know for sure next week.
