TomTom has taken a leaf out of Apple’s book and released a small plastic external component to ensure that the iPhone 4 carries on working.
The TomTom external adapter slots in to the existing TomTom Car Kit for iPhone, which allows to be used with the iPhone 4, the dimensions of which are slimmer and more compact than its 3G and 3GS counterparts.
The TomTom external adapter will be available free to existing customers who already have the app and Car Kit. To get your hands on a free adapter hit up this link here.
You’ll need the serial number of your TomTom Car Kit to hand so that you can place your order.
Shipments for orders are due to begin in a couple of weeks so you should receive yours by the end of the month.
