Think you’ll be getting an iPad in your eager little hands any time soon? Think again. Although the Apple Store has been teasing us with the promise of a ‘Late April’ launch, the international (i.e. non-US) launch has been pushed back until May.
The delay is due to the overwhelming popularity of the device since it launched on April 3rd in the States. All being well, we should find out pricing and be able to pre-order the UK iPad online on May 10th, with it in your hands in ‘late May’.
Apple offers you this consolation: “We know that many international customers waiting to buy an iPad will be disappointed by this news, but we hope they will be pleased to learn the reason – the iPad is a runaway success in the US thus far.”
Yeah, we feel much better now.
