Or maybe not. A white version of the Bold 9900, our favourite BlackBerry phone to date, has been spotted at a trade show in Dubai.
The pearly white version of the 9900 is reportedly coming out in Canada according to the source who papped it the event. No word yet on whether it’s coming to UK shores or elsewhere, we’re hoping to find out soon.
We first heard a rumour that a white Bold 9900 was waiting in the wings back in July. A holding place page for the phone (with no image) was spotted on Amazon’s UK site, so the chances of us Brits getting it seems pretty high.
White versions of phones have been all the rage of late, with albino editions of the Samsung Galaxy S2, Nexus S and the original BlackBerry Torch hitting the shelves.
The BlackBerry Bold 9900, if you’ve not heard, features a 5-megapixel camera that can record 720p HD video, BlackBerry OS 7 and as far as we’re concerned offers the best Qwerty typing experience yet.
