White HTC Sensation with Ice Cream Sandwich expected for March 1st

The latest press release from HTC’s Dutch office has outed an updated white version of the HTC Sensation set to go on sale from March 1st with Android 4.0 on board.

Expected to be relased in Holland, the mere fact that in under a month there will be a working version of Google’s latest Android on a brand new Sensation device suggests that an update for current Sensations should be rolled out anytime in between now and the end of the month, lets hope this proves to be the case.

We’ve already had some hands-on time with Ice Cream Sandwich on the HTC Sensation, with a leaked alpha ROM making the rounds on XDA Developers in December, and we’ve also been given a grainy cam tour with Sense 4.0 on board running on the the upcoming HTC Ville.

Hopefully this White Ice Cream Sandwich version will also bring Sense 4.0 and make its way to UK shores around the same time, you know how much we love white phones. Either way, we’re guessing we’ll see more from the white HTC Sensation before March at MWC along with the HTC Edge and HTC Ville.

**Update**

We’ve just had confirmation that in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, owners of the HTC Sensation, Sensation XL and Sensation XE will be getting Ice Cream Sandwich in under a month. Come on HTC Blighty – Make it happen!
