Comparisons to unicorns were never ending, but the iPhone 4 will be in your hand, tomorrow, according to Apple’s big official press release.
Visible here, the White iPhone 4, which we saw about 10 months ago, will be available across the globe in a worldwide release date of Thursday 28 April, in Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Macau, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, UK and the US.
Phew, and more countries will be coming soon, we’re told.
O2 has already announced that it will be stocking the white iPhone from tomorrow, and we’re waiting to here from the rest. We’re sure most will follow suit. Apple say both 16GB and 32GB models
“The white iPhone 4 has finally arrived and it’s beautiful,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of product marketing.
“We appreciate everyone who has waited patiently while we’ve worked to get every detail right.”
Are you happy, now? Are you? The conclusive release date follows all sorts of delays and date rejigging. Last week, we spotted the white iPhone 4 sneaking out onto Three Mobile’s sites, but that turned out to be a technical gaffe.
We’re sure Three’ll have it in stock tomorrow, but again, we’re waiting to confirm.
UPDATE: Two minutes after we went live Three have confirmed they’ll be stocking the white beauty.
