With white versions of popular phones being the de riguer colour variant after the standard black/gumetal grey, it comes as no surprise to hear word that a white version of the Motorola Razr could well be in the pipeline.
The above screengrab, reportedly of a Verizon spreadsheet, was sent over to Droid-Life, which clearly shows off ‘Motorola DROID RAZR White’, Droid Razr being the name under which the Razr goes in its native land.
However, the 1st of October 2011 also appears next to this listing, although there’s no telling if this means a release date, shipping date or a Verizon employee’s birthday. If the release date was indeed from last month, we’d have probably heard of it by now.
Motorola UK declined to comment on the rumour when we spoke to them, so no telling if this is the real deal or it’ll be a US-only deal.
Given we’ve seen white editions of the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the BlackBerry Bold 9900 – and Apple finally figured out how to apply white paint to something – the possibility of a white Razr isn’t that far fetched. Now, how about a pink one?
