The latest addition to Microsoft’s Must-have games series, Angry Birds has landed into the Windows Phone nest.
Following the likes off Sonic and Plants Vs Zombies, according to Microsoft’s Michael Stroh, the game has arrived, “ a few hours ahead of schedule and so fresh it hasn’t even been rated yet,”
“Be the first—or just hunker down with your phone and get dem pigs. The game, the last in Xbox’s Must-have Game series for Windows Phone, is free to try and $2.99 (£1.87) to buy.”
Actually, British gamers will have to fork out a jaw-dropping £2.49 for the pleasure. It looks like Microsoft are still unwilling to reduce their game prices on Windows Phones, with its version costing around five times more than the iPhone version of the bird-flinging hit.
This version covers the levels found in the original of Angry Birds- no news yet on whether Rovio’s Angry Birds: Seasons level-packs will also find their way to Microsoft’s Zune app store.
Download the app below, where you’ll also be able to try a few levels for free before deciding to buy.
