The Windows Phone Marketplace continues to grow at an impressive rate, adding about 3000 apps per month, making it the fastest growing smartphone app store yet.
The Marketplace currently has a daily influx of around 100 apps averaging a price of £1.30.
This beats even that of the iPhone’s app store, which at the 10k mark was adding around 70 apps per day.
Wpcentral is reporting that Windows Marketplace’s growth is set to overtake RIM’s (number three in the app stakes) in the next sixth months.
Despite all the stats pointing to a relatively slow start for WP7, app development flow continues at the same rate.
