ZTE Android-based Projector Hotspot hands-on video

We go hands-on at CES 2014 with ZTE’s Projector Hotspot, a nifty combination of projector and Wi-Fi/4G LTE hotspot.

The ZTE Projector Hotspot is the world’s first combination of projector and Wi-Fi/4G LTE hotspot, aimed at business users as well as anyone who enjoys a bit of home entertainment. We had a play with this Android-powered projector at CES 2014, so check out the video below for our hands-on impressions.

You’ll have to clear a fair bit of wall space to make the most of it – the ZTE Projector can blast out images up to 120-inches in size, perfect for chilling with the footy or a Hollywood blockbuster, or presenting to a large room.

The projector runs on Android 4.2, and you can download and run apps and media via the dinky touchscreen remote that comes bundled. Up to eight devices can connect to the hotspot, although the 1-2 hour battery life means you’ll need to keep the power cable handy.
