Kongregate Arcade removed from Android Market after just one day

Kongregate Arcade, the Flash game compendium we told you about yesterday, has already been banned from the Android Market. Google pulled the app from the Market for violating its developer distribution agreement which states that:

“You may not use the Market to distribute or make available any Product whose primary purpose is to facilitate the distribution of Products outside of the Market.”

And that’s pretty much what Kongregate Arcade does. Still, if you didn’t download it from the Market yesterday, no worries – you can download the app directly from Kongregate itself.

Before you head on over, make sure your Android phone is set up to install apps from outside the Market; head on over to Settings > Applications and check that box marked ‘Unknown Sources’.

Download the apk file to your desktop, plug your phone in and turn on USB storage and move the file across manually. Alternatively, follow the link above from your Android phone to download it directly.
