Rumour: Nokia N5 leaked pictures, Symbian Anna, 5-megapixel camera, 3.2-inch touchscreen

After last week’s ‘leak’ of the Sea Ray and the emergence of the Nokia Android prototype, we thought that there’d be no more juice left in the Nokia Rumour Mill. Turns out we were wrong; we’ve just spied some leaked pics of a phone reportedly called the Nokia N5.

Boasting a design and specs similar to the three C2 phones announced by Nokia last week, the Nokia N5 is aimed at the mid-range area of the market.

If the pics are to be believed, the Nokia N5 will come with a 5-megapixel camera with a single LED flash, a 3.2-inch touchscreen and will run Symbian Anna as well.

No surprises for that last one – pretty much everything Nokia that’s not running Windows Phone 7 is going to have the new-look Symbian Anna on it going forwards.

The source of these pics is Excellelar, a site based in South Africa. So if the Nokia N5 is the real deal, there’s a chance we won’t see it in the UK. Still, the more powerful camera makes the N5 more appealing than the C2-02 and C2-03 – let’s just hope that the N5’s touchscreen isn’t resistive should it make it to these shores.

We’ve asked Nokia for a comment on this and are waiting to hear back.
