Samsung and Vodafone giving away London 2012 Olympics tickets

Samsung and Vodafone are giving away 91 pairs of tickets to events at the London 2012 Olympic games. Events include track cycling at the Velodrome, swimming events and the men’s 100 meters final, perhaps the most iconic event of any Olympic games.

In honour of both companies sponsorship, all you need to do is to buy a Samsung Galaxy Android phone from Vodafone anytime form now until the 29th of February.

The offer applies to any Samsung Galaxy phone bought on Vodafone, from the Samsung Galaxy S2 to the Samsung Galaxy Y.

It doesn’t matter where you buy the phone from, online or in the high street, so long as it’s on Vodafone and it’s a Samsung Galaxy phone.

Hit the Hub

Once you’ve got your phone you ought to get a text message confirming your entry into the competition and then follow the instructions. You’ll need to use the Samsung Hub app that comes installed on all Samsung Galaxy phones and enter personal details in order to be in with a chance of winning.

Samsung, and Visa Europe have been strongly involved with the sponsorship and promotion of the London 2012 Olympics. Last year we heard of Samsung’s plans to launch a special NFC-enabled phone at the games, with Visa working on contactless payment methods for said phone to use.

The phone is strongly suspected to be the Samsung Galaxy S3, the follow up to the successful Galaxy S2, which we heard yesterday isn’t going to be shown at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, but at a separate event towards the end of the first half of the year. In other words, just in time for the Olympics.
