We’ve seen a tantalising glimpse of the latest Google Phone running Ice Cream Sandwich in a teaser video released by Samsung Mobile.
The 30-second clip shows a selection of things that: ‘In everyday life some things just go better together.’
Before stating ‘Another perfect combination is just around the corner’ and giving us a tantalising glimpse of a slim smartphone with a curved body and screen, with the headline: ‘Something BIG is coming.’ Check out the video below:
Ending on the Google and Samsung logos, it’s clear that this is actually the next Google Phone and the first phone that lands to run Ice Cream Sandwich. Google’s operating system designed for Android smartphones and tablet.
The phone is due to be announced at the Samsung Unpacked event, which will be held next week in San Diego.
At the moment we don’t even know what the phone is going to be called, with rumours suggesting it would be the Google Nexus Prime and more recently the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Find out more in: Ice Cream Sandwich: What we know so far
We’re really excited by the new handset, both at the prospect of seeing what ICS is like and also to see what the hardware is like – will it follow the same slim design of the Samsung Galaxy S2 or be more like the traditional Google Nexus S.
