It’s a Fire sale: Amazon’s Fire TV Stick burned down to £25 for Black Friday

Amazon’s snipped a tenner off of the regular price of its Fire TV Stick in time for Black Friday.

The dinky streaming stick lets you access a string of catch-up and on-demand services on your TV, namely Prime Instant Video and Amazon Cloud Drive, but also things like Netflix, BBC iPlayer, Demand 5 and the recently-launched ITV Hub

Related: How can I watch Amazon Prime on TV?While many of these on-demand services are already available on the great majority of smart TVs out there, one ace up the Fire TV Stick’s sleeve is the fact that it’s dead easy to control, either with the supplied remote or the very handy iOS and Android app.

It’s simple plug and play nature is ably demonstrated by none other than Jeremy Clarkson in an advert for the Fire TV Stick. Clarkson, as you may remember, left his spot at Top Gear host following an altercation with a producer and is due to launch a new show on Amazon next year, with fellow former co-hosts James May and Richard Hammond in tow.

This deal is live until the end of today, so if you want to make a slight saving, sign up now. Whether you get one today or not, the Fire TV Stick is still a great value for money purchase, especially if you’re an Amazon Prime customer.

As well as access to Prime Instant Video, you’ll be able to take advantage of other bells and whistles like Prime Music and Prime Photos via Amazon Cloud Drive to boot.
