The fourth season of Vikings is due to land in the UK on Amazon Prime Video just hours after new episodes invade US homes.
New episodes of the ten-episode season of Vikings will drop every Friday, from February 19 onwards, culminating in a (hopefully) spectacularly bloody finale on April 22.
Based on the legendary exploits of Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel), the fourth season transports us two years after the siege of Paris, where a weakened Ragnar discovered how some of his supposedly closest allies truly felt about him.

The fourth season of Vikings arrives in the wake of Ripper Street’s fourth season which is currently dropping new episodes every week on Amazon.
The shopping giant and streaming service will also be gearing up to launch a new show starring former Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May later this year. Details about the new show, which has still yet to be officially named, are thin on the ground. It’s rumoured that the project may have run into a roadblock, following criticism of Clarkson’s less than choice words about transgender people in a Sunday Times piece which may be at odds with Amazon’s code of conduct.
More recently it’s been alleged that Clarkson recently assaulted Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, although this has yet to be confirmed.
Amazon Prime Video normally costs £5.99/month and is also available as a free service alongside a £79/year Amazon Prime subscription. Check out the trailer for Vikings season 4 below.
