Now TV Entertainment Pass price drops to at £1 ‘til September 27

Now TV is dropping the price of its Entertainment Pass for new punters to £1 from now until the September 27.

Home to Boardwalk Empire (seasons 1-5) True Blood (seasons 1-7) later this month, the Now TV Entertainment Pass lets streamers get a taste of the best that Sky TV has to offer without needing a satellite dish fixed to the side of their house.

Other shows coming to Now TV this month include home-grown horror hit The Enfield Haunting in box set format. The show aired on Sky TV and Now TV earlier in the year and is now available for catch-up on a longer basis.

The regular price of a Now TV Entertainment Pass is £6.99/month. You can stream online on PC and Mac, on iOS and Android devices and on current and last-gen PlayStations and Xboxes. You can also access Now TV through Apple TV and Roku streamers as well as Now TV’s own Box, which costs a tenner.

A new and improved Now TV Box is due to hit the shelves later this month, costing £14.99. Specs and capabilities are thin on the ground now, but it’s hoped that it’ll offer improvements over the original device, which outputs content at up to 720p HD.

All we know about the new Now TV Box at the moment is that it’s black, it has a faster processor and it has an Ethernet port, allowing for more reliable streaming – the original Now TV Box is WiFi only.

Amazingly, Vodafone’s 4G Red Now TV promotion, which gives you a free Now TV Entertainment Pass for however long your contract is, is still live. If you signed up foe this today, that basically means you’d get to watch Game of Thrones seasons 6 and 7 for free.
