Win a YouView Humax DTR-T1010 500GB box

THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED…BUT WE’LL HAVE MORE GREAT PRIZES TO WIN IN FUTURE

YouView is the future of Freeview, combining a Freeview HD recorder with access to on-demand TV including catch-up from the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Five.

Humax’s DTR-T1010 is the latest in YouView receivers, and they’ve kindly donated one £299 box to give to a lucky Recombu Digital reader.

Like the original DTR-T1000, it has two Freeview HD tuners and a 500GB hard disc where you can record up to 125 hours of high definition TV, or 360 hours of standard definition.

Read more about YouViewYouView’s backwards programme guide lets you skip through the last seven days and jump straight into catch-up TV on the available programmes through BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4oD or Demand Five.

There’s also a special On Demand section for Channel 5’s Milkshake TV, and you can watch films through Now TV from Sky if you have a subscription.

To connect On Demand, you just plug in an Ethernet cable from your router, and just in case you’re too far away, we’re throwing in a Devolo Powerline Ethernet home network extender kit that will piggy-back from your router over your home’s mains power cables.
