Following hot on the heels of Fujitsu’s waterproof offering, HTC’s second generation Windows Phone 7 hardware, currently branded with the codename Omega, is one step closer to our hands.
These photo , which bizarrely appeared on an Algerian bidding site, seem to be running on the Orange network (country unconfirmed) and brandishes all those WP7 hallmarks seen in those leaked press photos.
That includes the dedicated camera button, a 3.8-inch WVGA screen, and a meaty 1.5GHz processor. Note the front-facing camera, which is expected to be paired with an 8-megapixel shooter. There should enough RAM (500MB of it) to cope with high-resolution snaps and video.
Looks-wise, it’s unmistakably HTC – they aren’t pushing the envelop looks-wise, and borrows its colours and styling from the HTC Flyer, but hopefully that battery cover will ease off with a little less force.
Expect to hear more on this later this week – and you could even get the chance to play with it yourself if you’re quick.
