Alongside Three, who announced this morning that it’ll be selling the Sensation XL and Vodafone (who announced it’d be selling it way earlier) comes word that Clove will be flogging the Beat Audio-enhanced Android smartphone as well.
Coming with a hefty 16GB of internal storage (but sadly no micro SD slot), the HTC Sensation XL boasts a huge 4.7-inch screen, an 8-megapixel camera a back-lit sensor and HD video recording at up to 720p.
Eagle-eyed spec hunters will already have noted that the Sensation XL is a close cousin of the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango-running HTC Titan, the only other major difference besides OSs is that the XL comes in flashy metal with white plastic accents while the Titan of course comes in a monolithic graphite-coloured sleeve.
The HTC Sensation XL is available to order from Clove right now fort £486 with the Beats Audio headphones and VAT included. Next working day delivery costs are worked out at either £7 or £8 via UK Special Delivery or UK Courier Citylink respectively.
Like the recently-reviewed HTC Sensation XE, the Sensation XL features a custom sound profile that’s optimised to deliver the best possible sound to the bundled headphones. Stay tuned for our review of the Sensation XL coming soon.
