Previously LG took to Facebook to say that the Optimus 2X wouldn’t be receiving Ice Cream Sandwich, and they’ve hit up the social networking site once again, this time saying it will.
Well, kind of. Their exact words are that they’re “in the process of planning the ICS OS update”. Hm, OK. Makes sense that they need the public release of Ice Cream Sandwich so they can see exactly what they’re dealing with, but it still sounds a bit vague to us.
No timeline given, although you might be waiting a while seeing as how the Optimus 2X only just received Gingerbread. Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re setting up an exploratory committee to determine whether or not we should go get lunch.
