Miniutes after we spotted (or rather didn’t spot) the white Nokia Lumia 800 over on Nokia’s Facebook page, we got the official word from Nokia regarding the white wonder’s release details.
Coming to British shelves next month, you’ll be able to snap up the white Nokia Lumia 800 free from Phones 4u from £20.50 a month. We understand that you’ll be able to pre-order the white Nokia Lumia 800 from Phones 4u from today, but the page to pre-order one isn’t available yet from this page here.
Chances are the snow that’s currently bringing the British Isles to its knees will have thawed and retreated by the time it goes on sale next month – any colour co-ordinating opportunities will then be lost.
In a statement, Ilari Nurmi, Vice President of Product Marketing for Nokia said, “since we began selling it late last year, the Nokia Lumia 800 has received rave reviews around the world. Now in white, the Lumia 800 brings with it a more premium look and feel with its gloss finish, and is packed with power and performance underneath its sleek body.”
Interesting to note that the finish is glossy – we wonder if it’ll match our affection for the smooth matt contours of the black, cyan and magenta versions of the Lumia 800.
