After being unceremoniously leaked a couple of days ago, Orange has gone and officially confirmed the San Francisco II.
Details are the same as they were in the leak; Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, a 5-megapixel camera, 3.5-inch WVGA screen and an 800MHz processor. Orange is bringing HD Voice along for the ride as well as the Signal Boost app, powered by Kineto Wireless, which we’ve also seen in action on the Orange Monte Carlo.
The Orange Wednesdays comes pre-loaded, enabling you to get discounted cinema tickets and Orange’s the gesture-driven shortcut tool.
The Orange San Francisco II isn’t available to order just yet, though we’ve been given some price details; £99 on Orange pay-as-you-go (plus £10 top up) and free on 24 month plans that start at a super-affordable £10.50 a month.
A ‘late November’ release date has been hinted at, so we’re expecting to hear more on this very soon. For a closer look, Orange’s Conor Maples has posted a quick hands-on video of the San Francisco II which you can watch below.
