Orange has told us that it too will be selling the new iPad. Again, like Three, Vodafone, T-Mobile and Carphone Warehouse before it, the fruity network remained mum when we quizzed them on prices and availability.
Apple has announced that prices for the 4G and Wi-Fi editions of the new iPad will be £499, £579 and £659 each and will be released on the 16th of March.
On Apple’s site, SIM-only prices for all of the networks have been announced. Orange’s rates currently work out at £2 for 200MB a day, £7.50 for 1GB a week, £15 for 3GB a month and £25 for 10GB a month.
These look unchanged from previous data rates for the Apple iPad 2, so they could be changed or refreshed at some point.
We’re also waiting on more information from Orange to see how long-term contract pricing for the new iPad works out.
Update: Orange has just posted a pre-order page for the new iPad. Register your interest here!
