UPDATE: The waiting is almost over, the pink version of the Samsung Galaxy S2 is finally getting a UK release, just in time for Valentines Day.
Samsung released the pink version into the South Korean market last year and judging from your feedback; this incarnation of Samsung’s award-winning smartphone was a mobile that loads of you (guys and gals) wanted to get your hands-on. 
Described as Rose, Phones 4 U has confirmed it will be selling the phone on Vodafone, Orange and O2 contracts
The Samsung Galaxy S2 was judged Smartphone of the Year in the inaugural Recombu Awards, wowing us with it’s 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen, fast dual-core processor in an exceptionally slim form factor. There’s also an 8-megapixel camera, which captures 1080p HD movies.
It’s great to finally see a variety of different coloured handsets finally appearing in the UK, there are a good selection of white mobiles, and you get get the Nokia Lumia 800 in cyan.
The rose Samsung Galaxy S2 is available from Phones4U. It states if you order it now you will receive it by Feb 13th, just in time for Valentines Day, although there doesn’t seem to be a way to order it at the moment. We’ve contacted Phones4U and we’ll let you know if we get any more details.
Update: We’ve heard from Phones 4U the pink Samsung Galaxy S2 will be available from Feb 13th, but as yet, there’s no date for pre-orders
