Destined for the maple syrup-coated hills of Canada, more pictures of the Samsung Hercules have apparated, alongside some very impressive speed test results.
Trumping the Galaxy S2’s 4.3-inch screen by 0.2 inches, there’s apparently a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, and plenty of internal storage- 16GB, in fact.
The rest of the rumoured spec sheet matches the Samsung Galaxy S2 we have here in the UK; highlights include full 1080 HD video-recording and a Super AMOLED plus screen, running at 800×400 resolution.
Design-wise, the Hercules looks like the Google Nexus S on steroids. It’s certainly bigger, but retains the the same curved lines. There have been some visual changes, including a relocated front-facing cameras and a glossy new button layout, nixing Sammy’s traditional three-button Android setup.
If you’re not drooling yet- take a look at these quadrant scores; 3359 brings it to the top of the dual-core smartphone tree, and could make it truly a hero amongst phones. There’s been no news yet as to whether other countries will get a sniff of all these Galaxy S2-ish powerhouses.
