Having barely arrived and already embedded itself into public conscious with help from an intese advertising push, the Samsung Galaxy S2 is already on sale- free on certain monthly contracts.
Carphone Warehouse has pulled a great offer out of its android phone-stuff hat, with the Galaxy S2, currently our top Android phone, arriving free on Vodafone contracts starting at £30 per month. This includes 500 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data.
That’s one heck of a deal, even on a 24-month contract. Carphone Warehouse‘s Android Sale has started and they’ve declared war on a whole range of the little beggars.
Other highlights include Recombu mid-range favourites, the Samsung Galaxy Ace and INQ Cloud Touch, both available on £15 and £13.50 per month, respectively. The Galaxy Ace is also a steal at under £200 on pay-as-you-go- that’s a £100 price-drop!
We don’t know how long some of these deals will last; popular deals will often disppear if they prove too popular.
The Galaxy S2 is so far the fastest dual-core phone to date, with a dual-core 1.2GHz processor that translates to speedier app functions and web-browsing.
Alongside all that bleeding edge power is the very latest version of Android, Gingerbread 2.3, and both front and rear-facing cameras, eight and two-megapixel respectively. The rear-facing camera has a flash and can record full HD video. It has 16GB of storage built-in, perfect for storing plenty of video and loads photos. This is also expandable by microSD.
