Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S and Live with Walkman heading to Three

Three has just announced that it’ll be selling two of Sony Ericsson’s recently announced Android phones, the super slick Xperia Arc S and the music-centric Live with Walkman.

The Xperia Arc S is a revamped special edition of the impressive Xperia Arc. It boasts the same 4.2-inch screen and the same curved design.

The 8.1-megapixel camera is the same as the one on the original Arc.It boasts an f/2.4 aperture and is backed up by Sony’s Exmor R light sensor. In layman’s terms, all of these impressive sounding things basically equal better shots in poorly lit conditions, without having to necessarily have the flash turned on.

A new bonus feature of the Arc S is that is features a faster processor than it’s predecessor, a 1.4GHz single core unit that’s 20 per cent faster than the original. The camera also features a 3D panoramic mode which we’ve seen in action.

The Live with Walkman phone is a smaller proposition, with music playing features to the fore, as you’d expect. It has a 3.2-inch screen, a 5-megapixel camera tha can record HD video at 720p and has a 1GHz processor.

Both phones run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box and feature Sony Ericsson’s Facebook Inside Xperia user interface bolted on.

No prices or release dates have been announced for their of these phones on Three yet. We’re expecting to hear more on this soon; we’ll keep you in the loop.
