Sony Xperia X UK unboxing and first-look: We’ve already finished our full Xperia X review, but here’s an unboxing and our early thoughts of Sony’s first major 2016 smartphone.
After a couple of days playing with the Xperia X out in Tokyo, we were hooked. Thankfully we finally got our hands on our very own Xperia X a few days ago and have just posted our full in-depth Xperia X review, but here’s our unboxing video too, so you can check out the slick Sony design up-close.
Sony Xperia X unboxing and hands-on review
With a box this sexy, how could you not do an unboxing video, right? Sony’s new unified design work – which sees the Xperia X’s vibrant desktops matching your chosen phone colour – even provided inspiration for the box’s inner lining. Nice.
Here’s our full Xperia X unboxing video and a closer look at the phone’s design and interface.
Sony Xperia X hands-on features
The Xperia X costs less than your traditional flagship phone but still boasts many of Sony’s premium features, including an excellent 23-megapixel rear camera and 13-megapixel selfie snapper. Check out our Xperia X camera review for our full thoughts as well as photo and video samples.
Sony promised us up to two full days of battery life per charge, which we put to the test in our full Xperia X battery test feature.
We’ve also already covered the differences between the Xperia X and the rest of Sony’s X family in our Xperia X vs Xperia XA vs Xperia X Performance vs Xperia XA Ultra comparison review.
Check back soon for our full Xperia X review and more in-depth features, all of which will be available in our Xperia X hub.
You can grab the Xperia X from O2 from just £32 a month, with no up-front cost.
