Looks like the white Samsung Galaxy S2 will be heading to O2 this month, in tandem with the recently announced Samsung Galaxy W. The two phones are currently sitting comfortably on O2’s Coming Soon page, both with vague ‘September’ release dates and not much other information than that at present.
There are no contact forms/register your interest sections, but as soon as we hear any change on these date-wise we’ll let you know.
The white Galaxy S2 is an all-white version of this year’s top-rated Android smartphone. You get the same high contrast 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen, the same 8-megapixel camera and the same buttery smooth performance. Unlike the Vodafone-exclusive white Nexus S (which was a Guinnessy mix of black and white) the Galaxy S2 is white on the front and back, with a silver trim round the front.
The Galaxy W, a new addition to Samsung’s Android range, comes with a 3.7-inch SLCD touchscreen, runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and comes with a single core 1.4GHz processor.
