Yo-Kai Watch Wibble Wobble UK and European launch: The next Yo-Kai Watch mobile game is coming to the UK, Europe and Russia in 2017, freshly translated from its original Japanese incarnation. Here’s all you need to know about Yo-Kai Watch Wibble Wobble for iOS and Android.
At the end of March, the latest Yo-Kai Watch mobile game, hilariously titled Wibble Wobble, will hit our iPhones, iPads and Android devices here in the UK.
Hang on, what on earth is Yo-Kai Watch?
Yo-Kai Watch is a Japanese production following the rather bizarre adventures of a boy called Nate, who finds that he can summon strange creatures known as Yo-Kai when he wears a special watch. Like Pokemon and other popular shows/games before it, Yo-Kai Watch stars a huge menagerie of creatures with distinctive looks and personalities. Many of them are antagonists who cause Nate nothing but grief, while others help him to keep their mischievous brethren in check.
Every time Nate befriends a Yo-Kai, he is given a Yo-kai Medal as a sign of their blossoming friendship. Using these medals, Nate can summon his Yo-kai buddies at any time. So not too unlike keeping them in red and white balls.
How can I learn more about Yo-Kai Watch and is there already a Yo-Kai Watch mobile game?
If you want to experience the origin story of Yo-Kai Watch, you can play the Yo-Kai Watch game for Nintendo 3DS. Yo-Kai Watch has already made it to Android and iOS too, in the form of Yo-Kai Watch Land. This app is a gentle introduction to the series, giving you character bios and other fun interactive elements – including the ability to take awesome selfies with the Yo-Kai.
You can download Yo-Kai Watch Land now from Google Play and the App Store here in the UK, for free.
When is Yo-Kai Watch Wibble Wobble coming to Google Play/Apple’s App Store in the UK and Europe?
Yo-Kai Watch Wibble Wobble is now out here in the UK, as well as across Europe (France, Italy, Spain and Germany) and Russia. You can bag it from the Google Play store and the App Store.
As for pricing, the app is free to download, although it also includes in-app purchases. This includes the option of buying Y-Money instead of earning it through the usual means, as well as Spirit to jump straight into battles (rather than hanging around waiting for it to regenerate).
